I have just downloaded and am starting to listen to this beautiful, breath-taking album. I am so delighted by the sound and experience of this music! While I do think the music can be enjoyed for itself, I would very much appreciate having page numbers (and/or quotes from the book, with an associated page number) connected to the relevant parts of the pieces. It would help those of us who haven't read the book in a year or two be reminded of the specific parts that a given piece is referencing, "play the movie in our heads" for which this score is the soundtrack to, and would help us appreciate in more depth the awesome work and effort you guys put into making this! Thank you so much! And thank you for getting the digital version out in time for Christmas - this is going to be an awesome gift!
It's been nearly 10 months since I first got my hands on "Kaladin," and It's still as vibrant as ever! Not only is it the soundtrack for "The Way of Kings," but it's also a great soundtrack to my D&D campaigns! My new favorites are "Alethi Codes of War" and "Hearthstone (Tien's Theme)." In fact, my only wish is that Codes of War was longer! Great work, Pipers. If you're looking for additional inspiration, can I recommend The Saga of Seven Suns by Kevin J. Anderson?
